CAPPADOCIA HOT AIR BALLOON TOURS(FLIGHTS) IN
TURKEY
Take in the beauty of the Cappadocia from a gentle, free-floating
hot air balloon offering a birds-eye-view of the land. The following
information is here to help answer your questions and to prepare you
for your adventure. There is no better way to see the Cappadocia than
by a gentle, free-floating balloon flight over the unique rock formations
(called as fairy chimneys), valleys and vineyards.
You see the layout of the wine country and you may even pick some of
the places you wish to visit later. Our balloons fly daily, weather
permitting, throughout the year. Flying takes place in the early morning
when the winds are at their calmest. We will encourage you to be involved,
right from the start, by helping the crew to prepare the balloon for
flight.
Your flight will last approximately 1 hour or 1 hour 30 min, but you
should allow two or three hours for the complete trip. After the flight,
on landing, we will toast the flight with a glass of Champagne and 'Flight
Certificates' will be presented to each passenger. Our retrieve vehicle
and crew will be on hand to help pack away the balloon and return us
to the launchsite. We all do our best to provide the most memorable
flights. We use up-to-date, modern equipment flown by experienced and
commercial licensed pilots.
DEPARTURE
At sunrise every day, weather permitting. (Previous years
have shown a 95% flying record) Pick-up from hotels in the area can
be arranged for no extra charge, and also returns to rejoin tour groups
or your hotel/hostel
PROGRAM
Pick-up the passengers from the hotel and go to the take-off
site which is carefully chosen depending on the wind direction on that
particular day.
We have over 30 different departure points in the area to ensure the
most interesting flight-path, as once airborne the balloon will travel
free with the wind. Preparation of the equipment takes about 15 minutes
and the passengers are welcome to help or to take photographs as they
wish.
The flight time is between 1h and 1h.30 and includes both low contour
flying and also going high enough to see the whole landscape from above.
Because the balloon is separated from the earth, the passengers experience
no sensation of fear or vertigo. It is no colder in the air than it
is on the ground on that particular day. After the landing and pack-up
of the balloon, we offer a celebration of the excellent local champagne
and present the flight, certificates before returning to the hotel for
a late breakfast.

vehicles and take you our launch site in the early morning.
-While you have your open buffet breakfast which includes coffee/tea
and snacks,we prepare the balloons on the ground. You will have an opportunity
to watch. The preparations take just 15min.
-At around sunrise,our balloons begin to take off.
-They rise approximately 1000 feet to show you sunrise and extraordinary
views of Cappadocia.
-Then they descend and float through the valleys,between fairy chimneys
and caves which gives you excellent views to take pictures or videotape.
-The duration of this tour is approx. 1 hour
-The Standard tour uses a 16-21 person capacity balloons. This is a
great option for those travelling on a budget.
-Upon landing,we have a champagne toast service for you.
-A commemorative flight certificate
-All our passengers are insured up to 1.000.000 EUR by Allianz.
-Summer season At about 07.30 am,Winter season At about 08.00 am our
minibuses will take you back to your hotel/hostel.
-Your entire balloon adventure lasts about 2 hours.
